Does anybody know if there is a legal age when people can be left in charge of other peoples children?
My 2 daughters go to karate. This week we turned up at class to find a new teacher who was only 17.
I felt very uncomfortable leaving my children in the care of another child so I stayed with them.
I personally think that a person in a position of responsibility like this should be a little older but before I lodge a complaint wanted to know if there are any rules/laws on this.
Any help would be really appreciated.

I can't be certain but I believe that you are legally old enough to look after other peoples children at 14, if not then its definitely 16. However there is some rules about child/adult ratios, so there should have been another adult there unless there were only 4 or 5 children.
As I say I can't be certain but I think thats right.
