Im realy nervous about Thursday, i have my final job interview its more of an assesment day i passed my first interview which was my CV and an online application, i passed my telephone interview and then the third interview which is on Thursday is a role playing one and a geogrpahy test and then thats it i pass!
The thing is i REALY need this job, its working for the AA but its working from home.. i take telephone calls from people who have broken down., the AA come and fix the computer up a desk, chair everything they provide it all you do have to have a room dedicated to work and nothing else which i will have when i move house 18th February.. and then if i get this job my partner wont have to work and he specialises in call centre work which i hate because its so germy and hes not the most hygenic....
Im so worried im going to fail right at the last interview i get worried over the role play part.. i have to pretend to work for the AA and someone will pretend to be an angry customer i know its all going to go wrong =(
any words of encouragement or advice would be greatly appreciated!!!

Well, I'll be praying for you Abbey. I hope it all goes quite well for you. Keep us updated. The job sounds perfect for you. You can be at home and near those little ones you love so much (and away from the germs that you and I cannot stand).
It's perfectly normal to be a little nervous about interviews!
Smile during the interview some, even if it doesn't feel "real."

Hello! I've got a few tips from when I trained as a Customer Service telephone person.
You should use the caller's name in the conversation to be respectful, where appropriate as it shows you are aware of the customer. Eg "The callout team will be with you in 30 minutes Mrs Brown".
Also never say the company CAN'T do something for them. Focus on the positives, ie what the company CAN do.
Also never get angry with them or at least pretend not to. Say back to them what they have said to you, in summary, so it shows you have been listening. Eg "So you're broken down on the A40 and you have been waiting 30 minutes already" etc. Read the details of their previous call.
Don't leave silence on the line; if you have to do something that takes a while, ask if you can put them on hold. If you won't take long, just say "Just bringing your details up now" etc.
Some of this advice might be a bit useless, just using your instincts works pretty well really. Fingers crossed, let us know how it goes, you will be fine :) _________________ ---------------

| You'll do great!! Remember that just about EVERYONE gets so nervous before a job interview, I really think it's something that helps make you do a great job :) Just be sure to be as totally prepared as you can be, give yourself plenty of time to get there and generally work to eliminate any extra stresses around that time. Good luck!! :) |
