Hope everyone else is going to be okay?? Kelly, let us know as Ireland are meant to be hit hard...not sure if that is right, just keep us posted

Good luck Jackie. I'm sure it will be fine. You know how wrong the weather forcasts can be.
I live in the North east and from the local forcast we do not appear to be getting it too bad.
Take care and stay safe.

Thanks Gail, I hope they are wrong! I s'pose I worry more after the last time. Wouldn't be so bad if they had built up the sea defences a bit more. Fingers crossed, will keep you posted.

Morning all,
Well no flooding as of yet, fingers are crossed here because we have a high spring tide headin our way from 11am onwords. The neighbours roof has blown off and landed on the other neighbours car, probably a right off, poor people.
How is everyone else, has the storm affect anyone??

Jackie,
I hope that you guys get away with no damage! I haven't heard anything about the storms hitting you all so I hope everyone is all right. I wondered why you hadn't played your scramble turns! I hope you don't mind I started a new game to try to get my mind off my nausea...
Sending hugs,

It was so windy here last night (horsham) car alarms kept going off and i got up a million times to shut my window, i have a massive oak tree in my garden and kept panicking i kept saying to my boyfriend 'should i go move the cars' he was like no its fine. Still like it now, i know how bad it can get your way when i drive to chichester in bad weather its all flooded and especially at bury you can only do about 30mph. Hope everything is ok my friend Tim leaves in Hayling.

Coo it was a rough night down here in Devon! Woken up at 2am by torrential rain and gales. Doesn't help that my OH is off on holiday and had to leave to go to Bristol Airport at 3am... I was so worried about him travelling I don't think I slept at all. Luckily he has landed in Austria safely, now I just have to manage for a week without him!

glad yer man made it safe and sound.
how's your horse?
mine doesn't bat an eyelid at these storms.
we had a really bad one in january and he couldn't have cared less....
this is largely cos his stable is next to the hay shed and he can reach the bales which are stacked up over the wall.
so he eats and eats and wouldn't care if the world collapsed around him.

Luckily his stable is really sheltered, you could hardly hear the wind down there when I went to see him this afternoon. Amazing really as it was still very windy - he was busy troughing hay and wasn't best pleased to see me!
I had an 'interesting' afternoon helping the farmboys make one of the barn roofs safe... It's made of galvanized / corrugated iron and half of it took flight and landed in the schooling ring this morning. Going to have a fun time searching for roofing nails over the next few days. Could have been really nasty though - one of the horses was in the school at the time, fortunately he didn't get hurt!
How are you getting in with your horse? Good I hope!
