My poor car

I'm so cross about my car. A couple of weeks ago the back bit of the exhaust broke. Just randomly. Luckily it on cost me 30 quid.

Then on thursday I was drivinf along, and my car sounded like a tank! My catalytic converter had broke. I went to the garage and he said it would be at leat 500 quid. WTF? I paid that for the car!

Then he said he had a 'mate' who was good at welding, and suggested I go and see him to see if he could sort of, weld it back together without replacing it. I did, and it cost 25quid! Cash. Not through the books. They expect it last a good coulpe of years so i'm pleased as I cannot afford that type of money.

I've never had any probs with the car before, and now right near xmas, it sods up. Oh well, the joys of motoring!

Hope everyones okay

Cars are like computers, they are GREAT when they are working, but if one little thing is off it can make you poor and insane!

I know the feeling!!

My car (Fred) in a fortnight needed new tax, had two instances of someone decorating the side of him with their key, a new seatbelt (£180) and a new tyre (£60) - I'm hoping he is gonna stop throwing tantrums and get back to normal again!
