Oh I'm really sorry to hear your sad news, I've got everything crossed for you that she does take a turn for the better, sending you big hugs (((((Hugs)))))

One of my cats (Jay) died 3 days ago, he started to have a fit and usally we just hold him steady when he has one (usually only about 3 a year because his meds control it).  But he kept stopping the fit for a few seconds then going into another one.  We couldn't get him to a vet in time as it was late evening and he died an hour after starting to fit.  We are gutted.  It helps we have other cats but we miss him terribly and always miss him when we feed the other cats (he was very vocal when it came to meal times especially if they were getting a chicken as a treat lol)

I'm so so sorry that you are having to face this. I am a huge animal lover.I've grown up with cats and dogs my whole life and now have 2 cats myself. I totally understand how you are feeling and i know how hard this must be. But please ask yourself if she is in any pain, i always think and if the answer is yes it is better to let her go so that she is not suffering anymore.

It is one of the hardest things in the world to lose a loved animal but if it means they no longer suffer then it is the right and bravest thing an owner can do if there is not hope.

I have my fingers crossed that she makes a recovery and we are all here fo you not matter what the outcome.
Let us know.

I know its hard for you.... losing a pet is awful worse than people somtimes..  I wish i could pop up and give you a hug.

however.. theres no point in prolonging an inevitable situation especially if the animal is in pain...

(Mind you i agree with euthanasia (sp) anyway with people anyway, after watching my grandad suffer for 12 years with cancer)..

I had my first experience with having to put a cat down 3 years ago.  She was my first cat and I loved her dearly, but she had a tumor in her throat that prevented her from eating.  When we finally decided to put her down she had gone from an adorable, chubby 12 lbs to a sick looking 6 lbs.  It was obvious that she was unhappy and although it tore our hearts out to do it, we had her put to sleep.  3 years later I'm still confident that it was the right decision.

Hugs to you...
Julie
