I have no idea how to set up a chatroom, especially one that's always there so us members could wonder in and out and chat with whoever is around. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great idea, just don't know how it would work!
Gemma, this is technically a message board. A chat room would allow us to log in and immediate be able to write something and then others could respond, more like an actual conversation...like AIM or yahoo messenger with a bunch of people. It would be a good thing, especially if one of us was actually feeling really sick and needed some support.

see my post 'Chatroom' in the emet discussion room...why not go there? id much sooner create one for just us gut reaction peeps...but ofear looks good and seems pretty empty! Bonnie x
