Hi All
I just wondered if anyone using this site ever met up?
I have been emetophobic for years (25 to be exact). When I tell people I am emet they say - oh yes I hate being s*** too, I know what you mean... NO YOU DO NOT - ITS NOT THE SAME!!
It would be so nice to meet up and make friends with people who REALLY hate it but also understand why I cannot have a child, wash my hands so much, eat vegatarian when Im out, will not venture to exotic places for hols etc.
Just if anyone does meet up would you mind if I popped along too (if your not too far away!!)
PS I am on Hertfordshire/Bedforshire Border.

That is a great idea! my friends dont know about my phobia and have just distance themselves from me as they just think im a bit of a home bird! im not though, i know i have it in me to get back out there and just enjoy my life. would be great to meet friends that have the same problem as me as we would understand each other and not think each other were 'wierd' or fussy!! i live in newcastle though :o(
